The practice and study of music is considered to be of the utmost importance because it constitutes a direct connection to the individual’s spiritual, emotional and personal being. It contributes to its integral development, as a Complete Individual.
The proposed methodology is based on years of teaching experience, at all ages and levels, which allowed me to develop an approach that encourages curiosity and the “need to know more”: playing and learning in a simple and fun way, because the best is to learn in a pleasant way!
The result is that the student will request more and more information, asking for more detailed explanations about what he is playing, thus understanding “why” in a simple, effective and rigorous way, so that he can build his learning on solid foundations.
The lessons are individual and taylored, focusing on what the student wants to learn to play, that is, the songs he likes to hear and/or would like to play. This way each song will require from him a set of skills, and in this way his knowledge is built through practice, a much more motivating, quick and easy way.
Due to the fact that I’m able to play different instruments and styles, I can adjust myself to the preferences of each student.
Classes are individual with variable duration (45 min, 1 or 2 hours), and all support material is provided by me.

With more than 30 years of musical experience, in continuous learning and practice, I learned that Accuracy and Quality are the driving force of a musician, and that Simplicity and Elegance are his essence.
I was fortunate to work in many bands, with many talented musicians from the most varied musical styles, and through these experiences I got into many different soundscapes, from other instruments and cultures.
Hence, I see myself as a multi-instrumentalist, practicing and studying different instruments related to these sounds. I develop work such as:

Creativity is born with every human being, and anyone has the ability to create. Sometimes the difficulty arises when one doesn’t believe he is capable, and also because of the way one organizes and develops ideas that arise from something simple, just like a plant that sprouts and needs conditions to grow.
All musical experiences are recorded in our spirit, and the ones that move us most are the ones that remain there forever. So, the ability to create and compose comes from the ability to access our spirit, seeking the strongest musical emotions, and putting them into something new, which is being created.
The tools that I developed, and use, are related to the experience of years of playing and composing in original bands, and also working as musical director, where prevails understanding the characteristics of each musical style and, above all, understanding the role of each instrument in this context.
Theoretical and technical knowledge came from the Trinity College’s Guitar Degree, and from the subsequent study of Flamenco, Jazz and Blues, Bossa-Nova, Samba and Choro, which are my musical passions. The organization and systematization that makes all this knowledge flow came from the Auditing Degree, where ideas are organized in a natural way.

A musical instrument is a precision instrument, whether is acoustic or electric. To ensure its proper functioning – and enhance its performance – it is essential to be well calibrated and tuned.
This is the objective of a Setup, as well as upgrading some hardware or electronics. Like any other machine, it needs to be maintained regularly, in the same way that a car is serviced. With these precautions, the instrument becomes easier to play, that is, less effort is made to play it, thus enhancing the player’s performance. Likewise, by calibrating or even changing your hardware, you can also increase its potential, in terms of stability and tuning precision, and in terms of sound and playability.
Whether for simple maintenance, regular setup, upgrading or recovering a highly valued instrument, the quality and rigor of the service relies on years of experience preparing and working on instruments. As a musician, guitarist and bassist, I really understand what other musicians wants to achieve with their instrument.
